Country jack shoes sole disintergrating!!

Hi all this has happened twice to me now and I was wondering if anybody else has had the same problem? I'm aware that Clarks and Ecco have but not seen anything about Country Jacks. I own two pairs of these lovely leather sliders neither worn for a while but when I've worn them the soles have basically started to disintergrate under my very feet! CJ's are not concerned, apparently the previous manufacturer is one they no longer use. No receipts for either as I've had them, a while, around 6 years I think then forgot I had them until I went into the back of my wardrobe. Any thoughts or similar experiences? Many thanks.

No chance of getting anything done about it after 6 years. Soles do harden and stiffen if shoes are not worn. I had a pair of walking boots for years without any problem. For various reasons I didn't use them for a couple of years but when I did, the sole split right across after a couple of wearings.

Hi there yes I tend to agree, same as you, one pair had been worn once or twice then I started using them again and bingo, the sole went! It's just frustrating when you buy what you think is a good quality product and, like yourself the quality doesn't come up to the price
. Thanks for your comments though!
