Stairlift disposal

Hi all.
I'd be keen to find out your recent experiences of disposing of an installed stairlift.
I know I can approach the company that installed it.
I know I could place it on eBay with the condition that the purchaser takes all responsibility for the removal etc.
I'm, also aware of a company called 'Multicare' to who I could sell it.
Any recent experiences that you can share to help me decide which way to go with this?
Thanks in advance.

We had this recently with my dad's stairlift. The best offer we had was from ....https://webuyanystairlift.com/
The process was really easy, the money wasn't great but at least he got something back for it.1 -
It depends how old it is. The local firm which buys them and sells reconditioned ones won't take anything over five years old.1

you're probably not going to get much back (compared to what you paid).
We paid £700 for a stairlift for my dad - two weeks later he "no longer needed it" shall we say.
Guy came back and removed it and gave me £200 I think

Thanks everyone, eventually sold it for a nominal fee on eBay. Still more than I was expecting to get for it to be honest.0
