Went well thanks, they got here for around 8 or so and left just after 3. We're now producing our own leccy and the kids were momentarily proud of their old man!

The only qualm I have is that I wish the bird proofing wire was black but that's nothing really.

The inverter is in the garage which I need to tidy up at some stage this weekend so I'll take a couple of pics in there for all you solar gubbins fetishists...
Well done! Feels like a fitting conclusion to your journey - the Sharp panels look very clean!

Now all you need to do is sign up for export and enjoy the savings/ earning! Congrats!

Looks a lovely job, welcome to the cult.

Did you go for a battery?

We didn't but the inverter will support one should we want one in the future.

I paid my LR balance in full and MCS cert came the same day. Hope yours will be as quick.
Still waiting for my DNO paperwork 7 weeks on, but Joseph in the LR office is very proactive and has chased my slow DNO..
    Your panels look very neat.

Did they put up a tower or just use their long ladders?

Did LR push your install dates back? I've been pushed back twice now due to weather, since end of September and it's November now.
This is for a 18 panel Sharp, with Solaredge inverter + Battery, so not exactly a small/cheap system.

I originally had a contract with DeegeSolar in May 2022 but I cancelled and got refund as they took the !!!!!! as it was 4 months on with multiple cancelled install dates and nothing to show for, I really don't want to cancel with LR unless I have to.

I think we paid the deposit early in October and they were suggesting dates towards the end of the month which didn't suit. I suggested 4th November as I was WfH and leading into the week, I wasn't sure if it would go ahead as it rained pretty heavily Monday to Thursday. Come Friday and the weather was glorious!

Oddly enough, I just thought of you whilst walking the dog, just.

Whilst at ours, LR went over to another property to install a battery in the morning and also to do something with a tile on another house in the afternoon. It could be the case that they plan their jobs on a geographical basis, perhaps.

You're not in the Outer Hebrides, are you?
