Will tenants get the gas/elec money help?

Hello, since mum went into care, we've bern renting her house out to pay the care home costs. The tenants are three students and they pay for the gas/electricity themselves, with SSE.
I am so worried for them about the huge new winter energy costs. Will they get any of that money that the government says will be given to help with bills?

You have posted in the Water section.

But anyway, whoever is the registered bill payer for the electricity meter will be the one who gets the payments. If that is one of the tenants rather than you as the owner then they will get the payment.

They will get the full £400 from October in 6 instalments that everyone with an electricity account gets.

I live on a boat on River Avon and stay in the winter from October to April. I take my electric from a pedestal on some land owned by someone bankside who has a meter by a shed thing.  They do not live there but get that electric bill to their house.  They charge a rent for the pedestal and then the electric bill on top although I never get to see it.  I just pay them what they tell me.  Will I get the Government £400?

If they have a sub-meter which they are supplying to just get the usage figures, they will just get one lot of government payment.

If the mooring has its own supply account for an electricity supplier then they will get if for that separate account as well.

It has it's own account.  So that is a bit disappointing as two of us use it.
