All the headers, all the names, all the technical guff will be forged. So easy solution is (unless you happen to know anybody from Stratford University) just set up a rule to delete anything from a stratford.edu address. Then you won't need to worry about it.1

I'm very interested in some emails in an account only appearing in one mail user agent and not in others. Have you tried installing a different one on the tablet and connecting that to the email account?Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230

Maybe the tablet is using IMAP and seeing the emails before the webmail or Outlook filters the junk out?

All other emails remain available on other devicesI have my own domain and my hosting service uses SpamAssassin, which filters out the junk before any client sees it.I did find that their webmail client could have rules, but they never operated until you logged in, so other clients would still see the junk if they logged in first. It depends where your email is coming through. I believe gmail are quite good at filtering out the spam.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards.
