Your energy tariff, or the price cap, gives you a price per kWh for electric and gas. Just multiply one by the other and add together. Next multiply the standing charges by 365 and add them. That should give you a good annual estimate.
However, unless you fixed the rates are due to rise again in the new year. Therefore the best you can do ATM would be to calculate the annual charge and divide by 4 for the quarter Oct to Dec.
Early predictions are for a further 50% rise in Jan, so halve your Oct-Dec costs and add it to the costs reached for one quarter. You won't be too far from the mark so long as your usage remains constant, your maths add up and the predictions remain accurate. Two of those are under your control. The third, who the heck knows.1 -
Ideally you need to download all the bills for the past 12 months (or use monthly meter readings), because if the fix you have been offered is more expensive than the cap then you need to figure out how much more you are going to be spending from Oct - Dec compared to how much you could potentially save between Jan - Oct next year and check if that's affordable and worth it. Like said above though, the January prediction could go up or down, or be fixed at the current values, so it's like betting on the horses at the moment, but with very little information on them!

It might also be worth you drilling down to your use as well - it appears that while your gas use is slightly lower than "typical", your electricity is slightly higher. that could be worth investigation.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
