Not sure what you mean? Are you suggesting that you refer yourself to open a second account to get a sign-up bonus?shadowflare014 said:So if I made a new account use my phone number would it work and would it be something bad. Don't have freinds to send the referral to0 -

There is a promotion for if the person you refer spends 5 bucks you and the person you refer will get up to 10 bucks so if I refer myself I would get up to 20 bucks-1

Isn't your mobile already linked to your existing PayPal account though? Mine won't let me log in these days without a text/call to my mobile as part of the security process.

I guess the rules may be different in America to what they are in the UK?shadowflare014 said:There is a promotion for if the person you refer spends 5 bucks you and the person you refer will get up to 10 bucks so if I refer myself I would get up to 20 bucks

As above - don't think we can do it on the UK paypal system. I imagine somewhere deep in the terms and conditions there'll be something about only having one personal Paypal account - so there's likely a risk that if they work out that both accounts belong to the same person, they may block both accounts, but that's just hypothesis.0
