Not sure what's wrong with my toilet bowl or how to fix it
Question47526

I used to use duck toilet cleaner in my toilet quite regularly and I think it caused the bottom of the toilet bowl to "bubble", leaving small raised bits at the bottom of the bowl.
The other thing it could be is that I live in an area with hard water and I don't flush at night as it disturbs the downstairs neighbour, so it could be limescale/uric acid build up. However whatevers at the bottom of the bowl is white and that's typically a brown/yellow colour right?
I use a silicon toilet brush and that doesn't have any effect on it.

I'm scared to use anything more tough incase I take the enamel off/make it worse.
Based on the information given what do you think it could be and can I fix it myself?

It’ll be limescale and a good dollop (half a litre ish) of white vinegar left in it overnight should sort it, might need repeating a time or two.2

IMO it's unlikely to be enamel damage - as above, white vinegar, or a limescale tablet left overnight should do it - neither of these can damage the surface of the toilet, and it's unlikely that anything you've used previously has3

Inexpensive supermarket cola is also useful for descaling and might be cheaper than vinegar.A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".1 -

It doesn't necessarily directly harm your stomach as that is regularly exposed to Hydrochloric Acid in stomach acid but it rots your teeth and increases the risk of obesity, diabetes, kidney damage etc.
