My son just called to say he'd discovered amazon photos with unlimited etc. Said I'd look into it. A quick investigation showed it to be for Prime members so called him and he cancelled.
Can anyone recommend a free storage other than Google photos please.?

No such thing as a free lunch. Most online storage will have capacity limitations. And even if they don't, when they go out of business or change the model, your photos will go bye bye.Might be beneficial just to get the biggest external drive you can.0

Get 2 external drives and keep them apart. Bought a 1TB drive some years ago and moved all my photo's to itand then it failed. Brand new drive which was not cheap back then.
Took me ages going through the old hard drives recovering the photo's. If you care about losing them get a backup.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...1 -
Keep one copy locally and keep another copy in NAS (Network Attached Storage) drive. You can access the NAS via internet so you can always access your photos, even if you are away.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0
