Itv hub - delete 'continue watching '?

Options
Hi, please forgive me if this is the wrong forum. Could anyone please help me with removing the 'continue watching ' shows from my itv hub app. I tend to start different shows but soon lose interest and don't want to continue watching it all. I would be extremely grateful for any help.  Thank you.

Where is the ITV Hub app installed? On your TV? (Knowing the device - including model number - may help).

Hi jenni, thank you for your help- the hub app is on my tv (via the Amazon firestick)....I've searched everywhere in settings etc but can't get any delete options. I've even uninstalled/reinstalled app but it doesn't help clearing 'continue watching '.....

You could set up a completely new account. That might do it.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

Not sure if this will work on ITV Hub, but does on some other services:

View the program in the Continue watching list, and then FF to the end (usually easier on a mobile/pc, where you can just drag to the end).

OK - it's on a Firestick. What happens if you select the programme and then press the 3 lines button on the Firestick remote? Does that give an option to delete it? Or perhaps if you long-press the big round button on the remote - does that pop up a menu?

Hi, tried that - the next episode just appears in the ' continue watching ' 😂🤷‍♀️

    This person here ( https://community.nowtv.com/t5/Content-Issues-Missing-Episodes/continue-watching-list-how-to-delete-unwanted-programmes/m-p/479367 ) says:

I found the easiest way is to search for the series, you want to delete.

Go to the last episode of the last series and scroll all the way to the end, say leave 15 seconds to play.

Once it finishes, it assumes you have watched the entire series and removes it from your list.

Easiest to do on the computer I find.

Admittedly this is for Now TV but ITV Hub may act similarly.
