How do I work out what I need to pay over next 3-6 months?

I pay as and when I put a reading in, no direct debit. 
I joined Octopus in January ish properly I think from Avro….

    You need to dig out your old bills and work out that monthly use at the current rates.  It will only be a rough figure though as, especially with gas, there are factors that influence that use.

    Octopus have introduced a "balance forecast" on their website, which shows expected usage and the cost of that, month by month

    Though that's based on current prices, so you may need to do a bit of maths if you're on the SVT and know the unit cost from October
