Daxies can have spinal problems due to their ling backs. That can be costly.
Any insurance company will take into account the breed when setting the premiums.
They also consider the area you livein as vets fees vary depending where you live.0 -
Read the small print. You'll probably find that any new insurer won't cover the first 4 weeks, so if you go with someone other than PetPlan you may have an uninsured gap.coconutcurls said:.
The ones recommend are always ManyPets or PetPlan. My local vet recommended PetPlan and gave me a code for a 4 week free cover, so a month from now I will have to make up my mind about what to do next for my puppy.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
It is normally 14 days not 4 weeks.
So, if you want to changer you need to overlap the policies.
Anything you consult your vet about in that 4 weeks will be a pre existing condition for any other company. Petplan will continue to cover for it.
So, if you want to change then do so as soon as you can.1 -
Thanks everyone, I have decided ManyPets Life cover £15K. Peace of mind.0
