I think short hair might come back into fashion this winterAlly_E. said:Sorry to pipe up with thick curly hair again, but I found that I needed to rinse conditioner out of my hair for longer if I used restricted flow shower head. So essentially I was using the same amount of water or maybe even more. So I ended up switching shower heads to old full power one just to wash my hair and switch it back to the flow restricted one for the body.
Not to mention the added drying, styling and straighteners using kWh up and down the country.
Short hair, towel dry, brush....job done😉.

It's fascinating how when people are given a solution to a problem, how they need to back-pedal and make excuses why they can't use the solution when its obviously staring them in the face.
In the end, if you want to save money or energy then you've got to reduce your consumption by either taking shorter showers, shallower baths or fewer of them. together with. turning stuff off or turning it d own.
If you cant' or wont do that then you won't save money - easy really.Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers3 -
I've just posted on another thread, "perfection" is now going to cost.

Just because you find a particular solution satisfactory doesn't mean everyone would - it doesn't mean everyone will fail to find their own solutions - everyone has their own priorities, they just might not be the same as yours.matelodave said:It's fascinating how when people are given a solution to a problem, how they need to back-pedal and make excuses why they can't use the solution when its obviously staring them in the face...

I'm not sure how people discussing their own habits and techniques is back peddling or making excuses?
