hello,
I have just plugged in mp3 player and got this message
The USB mass storage device is a HI-SPEED USB device and will function at reduced speed when plugged into a non-HI-SPEED port
The hubs shown in bold type have free ports that can support the HI-SPEED USB device.
VIA USB enhanced host controller
USB root hub 8 ports
and 8 unused ports below
recommendation
disconect the USB mass storae device from its current port and then connect it to one of the ports on a hub shown in bold type.
I have 2 usb sockets and same message comes up on both of them. so how do i get to go onto the hub shown in bold type! do i have to something to update them or ???
thanks for any advice

Have you any usb hubs on the back of your tower ?
How do I know if my PC has USB 2.0?
You can identify whether your PC has Hi-Speed USB or not relatively easy. Open Device Manager and expand the Universal Serial Bus section. There should be an "Enhanced" USB host controller present.0 -

You can identify whether your PC has Hi-Speed USB or not relatively easy. Open Device Manager and expand the Universal Serial Bus section. There should be an Belkin usb 2, 7 port hub.
