Contacting DWP by email for Pension Credit

Hi I applied for Pension Credit online a few months ago and received an email from them saying I would hear by 17th August and to contact them if I hadn’t heard. I couldn’t get through on the phone and looked for an email address but there doesn’t appear to be one. I understand there is a massive backlog. my question is…

I have contacted my MP about the delays and he is going to see if his intervention will help with my application. He says he doesn’t expect to hear from the Dept until 6 weeks have elapsed. I’ll let you know the outcome.
