Refund British Gas

Back in May british gas took over £820 from me without warning. apparently it was due to a couple of missed readings. 5 times i have called, each time i have been told they will refund me however still nothing.
The £820 has now gone down to £752 and monthly payments have also been taking. how do i get my money back? i have complained to them numerous times as well as reported to ombudsman but still nothing

Yoi must go through BG's formal complaint system - write by snail mail and get proof pf posting.
Are you now submitting monthly readsThis credit will rapidly come down this winter.
Have you done your sums with the new rates ?
