Do you have broadband and Wi-Fi in the house? You will need it to have a Ring doorbell.
Apart from that it is dead easy.0 -
Good job the OP has an A22 then 😉Alderbank said:
The Samsung s22 is certainly not 'low budget' eithershiraz99 said:
They're a good video camera system, doorbell included but as mentioned they aren't exactly "low budget".spurdog1 said:I don't have a problem with Eufy and Chinese. I just want something reliable, first and most. (That may be Eufy)2 -
I bought a ring 2 and chime (from Amazon on a prime day deal). To fit the doorbell it's 4 screws. You'll need a drill and masonry bit. The additional chime plugs into any socket and allows me to hear it from the garden.
If you want video stored not just live access to who is at the door it's £34 a year for a subscription.
I like it because I know the pet sitter hasn't forgotten the cat when I'm away.Officially in a clique of idiots1 -

Sorry, I'm the guilty one. I need to go to Specsavers

All systems will have apps and no, the Eufy can be used without a subscription, as can the Blink doorbell.0
