Do you have broadband and Wi-Fi in the house? You will need it to have a Ring doorbell.

Apart from that it is dead easy.

I don't have a problem with Eufy and Chinese. I just want something reliable, first and most. (That may be Eufy)
They're a good video camera system, doorbell included but as mentioned they aren't exactly "low budget".

The Samsung s22 is certainly not 'low budget' either
Good job the OP has an A22 then 😉

I bought a ring 2 and chime (from Amazon on a prime day deal). To fit the doorbell it's 4 screws. You'll need a drill and masonry bit. The additional chime plugs into any socket and allows me to hear it from the garden.
If you want video stored not just live access to who is at the door it's £34 a year for a subscription.
I like it because I know the pet sitter hasn't forgotten the cat when I'm away.
Officially in a clique of idiots

So, do both have an app facility, and does the Eufy have an annual subscription for video storage (as mentioned above)

not sure what both are, but the Eufy has an app thats extremely easy to use, and it doesn't have a subscription (yet)
  • You can get a RING for about £80.00 on Argos and those places..

    Which are your referring to?

All systems will have apps and no, the Eufy can be used without a subscription, as can the Blink doorbell.
