Why would you cut off the gas (which will cost you £x00 and of course greatly reduce the value of the property) and use electricity, which is more than 300% more expensive per kWh?
If you can heat the property adequately with a woodburner costing zero to fuel, then that is a no-brainer, but you don't need to take the gas supply out to do it.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Tracker is same price as Agile for electricity, both have 55p cap but Tracker only needs you to say you are happy to have a smart meter fitted, Agile needs one already in place.Barnsley, South Yorkshire
