Martin live on ITV drove the point the announced cap isnt very meaningful
Well played on him for this, explaining the unit rate or even an announced % increase is much more useful information.

Some pretty stark words from Martin Lewis on the coming crisis.
Fair play to Mr Lewis - he could have ridden off into the sunset when he sold MSE in 2012, but he has remained involved - both in MSE itself, but also in a wider context in terms of offering advice and also campaigning and trying to shape policy (e.g. through the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute).

Yes, I wish we could thank him in a meaningful way to show our appreciation. Government doesn't always see the individuals who are affected as people, just statistics. I am VERY scared of the future. Given how many posts have been made on this part of the forum, a lot of us are, not surprisingly.0

You can tag him here @MSE_Martin - although I’ve no idea if he reads the forum at all any more. He certainly used to, though!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
