100% Insulation Grants - Cornwall

I had a phone call today, yes Sunday, from a chap working for the Cornish District Councils - he mentioned Carrick and Caradon DCs.
One of our tenants has applied to have his/my loft insulation upgraded and they need the landlord's permission to carry out the work. I was only too happy to oblige, and also passed on the details of our other tenant who could benefit from the scheme.
Apparently tenants are likely to qualify for 100% grants for loft or cavity wall insulation. Apparently they are funded by the energy companies.
My guess is that similar schemes are currently runnign in other areas of the UK.

You can get it if you claim DLA, even if you are a home-owner. (This was also Cornwall, not sure about other areas but I'd guess there are similar schemes).
