Morning, it seems to be an ok start this morning.Yesterday wasn't a bad day.
Hope you're feeling all right after your fall Camelot, gives you a shock doesn't it.
Taff, hope the MOT went ok yesterday.
Hello Gers, hope you're having a great time.
Nanny, I've just spilt some cream on the worktop, floor, and down the cupboard door, I've hardly been up five minutes!
DP!, glad the bairn has had good news healthwise, she deserves it.
We had dgs yesterday, he kept us busy as usual
I've got jobs to do today, we're going away tomorrow for a family birthday, only for 2 days, but you would think we were going for a month with the amount of preparation it seems to take. Most of our clothes are in the caravan so that's one job done, took them over the other day..
Hope everyone has a good day, take care folks.

Hi everyone,
dp1 I'm so pleased that little one no longer needs the oxygen at night, dd must be thrilled, what a tribute to her (and your) care of her.
Gers, it sounds as if your family is having a great time.
Ruby, I'm glad you are enjoying your new role.
Hope you are less stiff today.
We have had a very full on couple of days, part good part bad. The bad is that Brian had a call to say that his mum was failing and to go up to Glasgow urgently so he flew up without coming home from work. She has been in hospital for a few weeks but the boys (he has two brothers) weren't able to get any info (at her request, we think she was trying to spare them but it just added to the stress). Laura went up with Esben by car yesterday and took Steve's sister so that she could break the journey on the Wirral, she'll carry on today and hopefully will get there in time to see her mil.
At the same time we had a call for help from Chris and Crystal who had got home the previous evening. They'd been alarmed because baby (Nathaniel) had been vomiting quite a bit so they had both been awake a good part of the night. They'd rung the hospital and been told it was because he was born by C section, they don't naturally get squeezed in the birth canal and get rid of the mucus in their passages so some of them vomit it up over the first few days. No-one had told them so they were worried.
Anyway I got lots of cuddles, he is absolutely gorgeous and tiny, but feeding well and sleeping peacefully as well. Chris and Crystal didn't get as much sleep as I would have liked but Crystal's mum is going today and I suggested they asked her to stay for a few days which I think they might. If she can't I'd be happy to go to help.
On a more sombre note, it's likely we will have to go up to Glasgow in the next couple of weeks and I wondered what the name of the hotel is where you stay Gers. I know someone on here recommended it and it sounds lovely.
Have a good day.13 -

Morning folks and thanks SCARLET, Have a lovely couple of days away. After yesterday when it took most of the day for the sun to come out it is with us from the word go this morning. It looks lovely out there.
Good news and bad on here just now.. SNOOZER you seem to have had both. I hope all Brian's family get to Glasgow in time. DP1 lovely news from you, your little DGD deserves to live a near normal life at last. She has been through so much and so bravely too. A big ((HUG)) for her.
I have a guest (and maybe 2) here today and overnight. Youngest DGD is with me all day and for sleepover as my DD is going to a wedding. Middle DGD is at a friend's house all day but may be here later to sleep (or she may stay with friend!) I caught up on most of the necessary jobs yesterday so today will probably be a day of crafting/kitting/crocheting and meal making! I may even tempt her into a bit of weeding!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for all our poorlies, poorly loved ones or fed up Take care one and all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"14 -
Morning all. Thanks all, the car sailed through the MOT but I was kicking around Salisbury for four hours while it was being done and the service oo. But they also cleaned it, which saved me a job, I was very pleased. I found some trim gel while I was cleaning so I'll put some of that on it in a bit. Unfortunately, that meant I visited all the charity shops I could and came away with a half a bag of things, two presents and a couple of tops
It took and hour and twenty each way and when I got back I had an hour in the house followed by a freinds birthday bbq and got home at twelve, I was a bit shattered. Today I am off out to lidl to get some croissants and pastries to put in the freezer for OH, a visit to the sewing shop for a chalk pencil and a final visit to a sm for some freezer fillers. I can put my sewing machine away now and that leaves the top free. I might do a visit to a dunelm or something, I want a couple of the biggest towels I can find. Then I should be able to start packing properly.
dp1, good news about the little one! snoozer, not such great news about your little one but hopefully he'll rally a bit. Sorry to hear about Brians mum, all this stoic stuff just doesn't work...Scarlet, hope the packing is short and sweet and no more accidents happencamelot, enjoy doing nothing this weekend, finish off the recovery...Ruby, thanks, I will do that when I get back, now I just need to find a nice sweet chili jam recipe and I'll be set...enjoy the noworkwork...TA, tempt her into weeding with a pasta bake?
Gers, sounds like you're really having fun so hopefully, that will continue..nanny, you and scarlet are obviously a danger first thing so I prescribe tea being brought to you for the next few days...
Rosy, hope you had a quiet day,,the car goes there because it's part of the service warranty, three years of servicing and MOT was cheaper to buy as a package than taking it to individual garages here. Right, take care today folks, time for breakfast and a then a wandering I go...

Morning all
Nice bright sunny day here I have a wash on the go and it can be hung out after. I need to do my invoicing for august this morning to ensure that I get paid, this is all new to me so it might take me a while !
Then I shall take the dogs out for a walk and then make the chutney, you have to roast the garlic so I will get that in the oven soon.
This afternoon I am hoping to watch a film and have a rest on the sofa, but I have a feeling that OH will be home early so we will see !
MY dd has her last day at work today, she starts a new job Tuesday, she is going to work with people with mental health issues and the new company want her to eventually manage the place, its a bit more money for her which is always handy.
Snoozer sorry to hear about Brians mum xxx
Have good days all xxx13 -
Morning all, all my washing dried yesterday and the work over the van took twice as long as we met some new caravaners who were very talkative ! I also managed to salvage my jigsaw after my tea fiasco, phew.
Today the wm is back on and there is a towel wash waiting in the wings, I'll hang it outside when it's ready, although it's all grey skies like yesterday but it still dried. I have a sm delivery this morning and I'll have to sort that and put it away when the time comes. There's only 1 item oos and nothing I can't live without. I also have my eye on sorting a small kitchen cupboard today as it's full and things keep jumping out at you when you open the door 😏 I also have some clothes mending ready to do, it's been pending for ages but I keep forgetting to do it !
Scarlett enjoy your break and the wedding bash. No accidents either please, I'll take on that burden for you over the weekend, I've got broad shoulders 😂
dp1 great news about little one.
Snoozer oh dear such a time you're having with all the ups and downs. I hope Nathaniel settles with his sickness. Hugs to all re Brian's mum, I hope they manage to get there in time.
RosyRed happy birthday for Sat just in case I forget, which is highly likely 🤨 Hope you have a great day 🎈🎂
Gers sounds like you're having a fabulous time, enjoy, enjoy, your relatives sound a happy and delightful bunch.
taff glad the car passed the MOT.
Sorry if I've omitted someone's news, my head is very fuzzy today.
Take care all
