SABA fine @ Railway station - paid through misleading App

Hi all,
I have read a lot of advice on the site but unfortunately slightly too late to follow it exactly and fear I have already made mistakes!
Brief summary:
5th July - received parking fine for parking in wrong car park at Leighton Buzzard railway station. Used SABA App to book, click on car park that was suggested to me, looked exactly the same as other Car Parks - highly misleadingly there are different car parks that look exactly the same and you need to click multiple times to tell the difference
8th July - appealed to SABA RE fine (in doing so admitted I was driver)
8th July - (yes same day) SABA rejected my appeal
4th Aug - Appealed to Popla
15th Aug - Received ZZPS debt collection letter (£170 to pay)
24th Aug - Saba replied to my Popla appeal
I am told I have 7 days left to reply to Saba's evidence to Popla
One obvious next step I think is to complain to BPA as I received a debt collection letter after I have started my compaint to POPLA as I understand they they shouldn't pursue me for payment during this.
Any advice appreciated. I can of course give more details on actual case if needed, but seems that this isn't actually as important as the process!
Thanks

I am told I have 7 days left to reply to Saba's evidence to PoplaYou have six days, so follow what the NEWBIES thread already says about POPLA comments stage.
You'll almost certainly now lose at POPLA (due to admitting who was driving and that was the only winning point, we expect, unless POPLA surprise you). Ignore SABA after that.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

ok thanks. and should i appeal to BPA about SABA's debt collectors chasing me whilst I am appealing to POPLA?0
-
Yep but they'll only get a slapped wrist.
More urgent is the POPLA comments. Maybe you can see something in the evidence photos & signs that helps your case, as the NEWBIES thread explains you need to do.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes, most definitely, even though as @Coupon-mad writes, it will only be "slap on wrist".dtwilliams23 said:ok thanks. and should i complain appeal to BPA about SABA's debt collectors chasing me whilst I am appealing to POPLA?2 -
Unfortunately the POPLA appeal was unsuccessful as expected
Is it just a case of ignoring all comms now until 6 months has passed?0 -
Yes indeed, and please come back to do the vital Public Consultation (explained in recent posts on the Announcement thread by MSE_JC which we ask all posters to bookmark so you get alerted when the Consultation opens).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
