Small Retail Unit Inside Shopping Unit - 87.27p kwh Quote

Options
Hello, I am out of contract and have just had to search for a new energy supplier for electric. I was quoted 87.27p kwh. I use roughly 300-352.5 kwh a month.

The standing charge is 38.12 pence.

This is a fixed 12 month term quote.

Does this seem reasonable or not? It seems expensive but is that because energy prices are currently high.

Thankyou

For a business tariff that seems reasonable enough, I'd snap it up.

Agreed, that is very near to potential KWh of 75p to 105p for April predicted by CI and Auxilione.

And that are predictions for domestic rates.
  • Okay thankyou. So if you agree it is a good quote. I will go ahead then.

    Thanks for your help.

Nobody knows what is a good rate in a few months.

How does it compare to your out of contract rates? I assume you have also checked other suppliers?

Snap that offer up as fast as you can B)

Our small office unit is also up for renewal next month (E.ON) , just last week was offered 1 Year fix at

    Electricity
    Unit rate    94.5 p/kWh
    Standing charge    60.0 p/day

Today, checking now its gone to

    Electricity
    Unit rate    157.5 p/kWh
    Standing charge    58.8 p/day

    Nightmare.... :'(

  • My out of contract rate is charging me 499p per day standing charge. The p/kWh is similar to my new quote.

    Thanks

Something has to be done by this government for small businesses, its just a joke.

Just looking at today's Gas Tariff
    Gas Tariff
    Unit rate    57.75 p/kWh
    Standing charge    58.8 p/day

Over a year ago it was 5p, easily a 1000% increase.
