Had to look that one up!  It sounds interesting, did it taste good?

As far as I can make out from Mr Google, it is a new melon variety with a hint of mango flavour, rather than being a mango/melon cross.  Either way, it appears to be an F1 hybrid, so it is unlikely that the seeds would produce another mangomel - if they grow at all, maybe you would end up with a melman or a longo?

There's nothing lost by giving it a go, but as Apodemus says, the seeds from an F1 hybrid will rarely, if ever, produce fruit that is true to the parent.  An interesting article here, if you're interested:
But give it a go - it'll cost nothing to try, and even if the fruit is different to the parent (if it fruits at all), it'll be interesting to see what it tastes like.
We've done this dozens of times with seeds from supermarket-bought fruit & veg.  It's always a bit of a lottery as to what you'll end up with (but it adds to the excitement!).  Sometimes you get no fruit, sometimes it's pretty bland, occasionally it's really tasty.  But like I say, there's nowt lost by giving it a go.
But if you want a guaranteed crop, that's why you have to shell out and buy proper F1 seeds from a garden centre/nursery/whatever.

Mango and melon are from completely different plant families so it can't be a cross between the two.  As already suggested, more likely to be a "cross" between the flavours.  If it's managed to produce seeds they are probably viable, give it a go next year and see what you get.  It will probably want a good deal of heat though - did you grown the fruit yourself?
