Boots.com are not refunding

I bought an item on Boots.com using Paypal pay in 3, it is a new Paypal credit thing. It was a gift for my Mum, It turns out someone else got her the same so I said I would return mine. Anyway I returned it to my local store, they took my points off me and it is showing as returned.
No refund has been put through, I rang customer services and still no refund has been put through. I can't raise a dispute on Paypal and Paypal are no help whatsoever telling me to contact Boots.
Can anyone suggest what I can do? It is for rather a lot of money so it is worth arguing for. Thanks in advance

Any refund will go to your Paypal credit account, not your ordinary Paypal.
There is a previous thread about this as you cannot withdraw money from Paypal credit so it will sit there until you use Paypal credit again.1 -
the OP paid with PayPal Pay in 3 which is different to PayPal credit. Have used the pay in 3 a few times and any refund is processed back to your funding source(ie debit card).sheramber said:Any refund will go to your Paypal credit account, not your ordinary Paypal.

I have done a dispute, Boot says they refunded but they haven't as as the previous comment it would show as refunded and go back on my debit card by now. Shocked by Boots attitude to this.0

i bought a breast pump from boots which turned out to be faulty.
i returned it to store and was told a refund via paypal could take up to 21 days for some reason.
well i am now over 8 weeks and counting.
i have wasted so much time and effort contacting them to be fobbed off every week with ‘the refund is being reprocessed’ and ‘the refund will be in your account next week’.
their customer service is absolutely terrible.
no managers will speak to you, passed pillow to post constantly, told conflicting information always, no emails replied to and it goes on.
this pump was £250 so it’s a lot of money they have with held!
annoyingly i could not raise a dispute with paypal as it’s over the days of which they will step in.
boots have got me to fill out a BACS form almost 4 weeks ago which should take 3 days max to process.. well it has still not been done.
i am fuming and do not understand the hold up?!0 -
its been over 180 days? hope you kept a receipt from when you took it back into them? try to get everything in writing....fayecass123 said:i bought a breast pump from boots which turned out to be faulty.

I have a Paypal dispute they were contacted over a week ago by Paypal and have not responded, I should get a refund from Paypal at the weekend. I was told 5-7 days then 30 days, just excuses if they processed the refund like they said it would show as refunded and it does not. Their customer service is disgusting, I would not buy from Boots.com ever again.fayecass123 said:i bought a breast pump from boots which turned out to be faulty.
