Bank Account with variable interest on balances

I've tried various comparison websites but none come up with what I'm looking for - it may not exist! Essentially a no-frills bank account that will do DD's etc, and pay decent interest on balances. We'll be using this account to put our savings into - draw down when we want and also a monthly DD into our 'home' account. What I don't want to do 0ver the next few years is have to swap here and there as deals end with one bank and open up with another. It doesn't necessarily have to be the absolute best rate available, but I would want it linked to base rate so we don't get left behind in the next few years - and as mentioned earlier - can just stick with this particular accounts. Does anyone know of any accounts like this out there ? ps. Will be putting in around £20 -£30k

Virgin Money M Plus current account with a linked savings account.
2% on current account up to £1,000 and 1.71% on up to £25,000 on linked savings account.
PS No chance of base rate link and pot luck if it keeps up with the market.1 -

I am almost certain it does not exist ! Especially this bit but I would want it linked to base rate so we don't get left behind in the next few years .

If you're looking for a savings account with the ability to set up a recurring withdrawal then you want to consider Ford Money, Paragon, Charter or Newcastle. They all use the Newcastle platform that allows you to do this. (Though Charter may be moving platforms at some point)1
