CP Plus - Payment website error

Just checking my options here.

Partner got a parking charge for parking over the free 4hrs at Beaumont Lees Shopping Centre in Leicester (4hr 31mins) due to going swimming with the kids and then also shopping around the shopping centre. Swimming was delayed by an hour due to having to queue cos holidays.

So having received the PCN from CP Plus, i've gone through the website to pay the fine but the website is broken. After entering the payment details the website returns an error. Luckily the payment has not gone through. Also the website was unable to show the details of the PCN correctly (no photos displayed).

This is not a fine, you have not been fined.
Why on earth are you trying to pay?

Stop trying to pay an extortionate charge!  This is not a fine and you don't pay CP Plus!

Show us the front & back of the 'PCN' with your ID covered and we'll check if it's the usual wording that you can 100% win on appeal to POPLA. Where CP Plus issue ANPR PCNs by post, due to the lazy wording they use, they can't hold registered keepers liable so you win by not saying who was driving. Scam over.

Alternatively, the shopping park can cancel this in two minutes flat.  Always complain to the landowner/retailer manager.  This is PLAN A in the NEWBIES FAQS thread.

    Easy to kill off.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
