Mains fire alarm keeps going off in the night

    Are you at cross purposes, as you can get mains powered smoke alarms both with rechargeable batteries and non-rechargeable batteries? The replacement interval would be quite different?

    Indeed. But, if your doctor asks you if you are 'regular', he probably means daily. :)

    It's conceivable that some mains alarms have batteries that are meant to last the lifespan of the alarm, and are non-replaceable?
