Our next door neighbours on our left hand side have on the other side of our wall the bottom of their very long and wide overgrown garden.
Our left hand wall to the start of their garden at the house end is probably about 200ft?
The length of our wall at the bottom of their garden is about 30ft.
I was thinking of asking if they would be willing to sell a part of the bottom of their garden, approx 30 ft long x 6ft wide.
What would you think would be the going rate for something like that?
Any help appreciated.

The 6' x 30' extension sounds as though it might exist as a back access route to their garden - does it, or could it, lead anywhere? If so, losing it might be a significant loss to your neighbours. On the other hand, if it is truly a dead end it might be worth significantly less.
