Barnet Hospital Staff Car Park

elucidate

Hi all,
The driver of my car inadvertently parked in the staff car park of Barnet Hospital when visiting a patient. They paid for the parking according to the duration they were there, but it was the wrong car park.
I emailed Barnet Hospital PALS on 14th August but have still not received a response.

From a previous parking dispute, I have the email address for Royal Free Trust's parking team, but I wanted to go through PALS first.
Please advise me as to possible next steps.
Thank you.

Hello everybody,
I appealed the parking ticket via the standard ParkingEye procedure. I was careful not to make any mention of whether or not it was me who was driving the car. Nonetheless, they wrote back on the 14th September saying that (apparently) I told them it wasn't me who was driving, and that I have 28 days to give them the name and address of the driver, or else I would likely have my appeal rejected and have to pay the full cost as Keeper.

Unfortunately due to life events I have not had the chance to take any action. The 28-day period finished on Wednesday 12th October, but ParkingEye have not followed up as of yet.
Aside from re-attempting to get in touch with the Hospital, what should I do right now in terms of dealing with ParkingEye? I was thinking of replying by saying "I didn't confirm nor deny whether or not it was me who was driving - please deal with the appeal accordingly". I would appreciate some advice, as I anticipate they may send a letter any hour now.0 -
You were correct not to name the driver, you have no obligation so to do. The PPC can only invite you to name the driver not compel you. If this is a hospital car park and you were there on genuine business - an appointment for example - get onto PALS and complain. Remind them of the NHS parking principles.2

Go to PALS or the Chief Medical Office (CMO).

Thanks for the responses.
Just like in the past, PALS gave me the email address for their in-house parking team, who I have now emailed.
(Plan is to go to chief executive if that fails).
I also replied to ParkingEye via making another "appeal" in their online portal, wherein I reiterated I'm not telling them who the driver is, be it me or someone else, and I copied and pasted the original appeal text.1 -
Good luck, what a bunch of parasites.2
