Hello again,

Yes, I have emailed the Court(Confirmation received) Hearing date is early March.

My WS is due at the end of this month, I know it's super late (so busy - just become a father for the first time), so it goes out today or Tomorrow morning.
Hope it's not too late.

Dear Good people of MSE,

We won! Defendant  submitted the witness statement and received this in a reply after a few days.

'Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.
The attached has also been filed with the Court.'

I am not sure if I have to do anything at this point.

I would like to thank you for all the help and advice.
Please let me know if you want me to attach any of the papers that may be useful.
