I thought I saw a notification that if my direct debit was over £100 pm I would be offered a discount by the energy company. Am I having a senior moment or is this being offered?

Where did you see this notification? The vast majority of people probably have Direct Debits over £100pcm now, they are not all being offered discounts.

You will get your winter £400 discount by reverse DD, if that is what you mean?

You might have received a notification, but I know I've not and mine has gone from £95 to £246.

You are getting a 7% discount for paying by direct debit order compared to standing order, cash or cheque.

This does not depend on how high the DD is.
