Maybe this is a topic for the Parking sub forum - Parking tickets, fines & parking — MoneySavingExpert Forum3

As above ... and the answer is NO, it hasn't been scrapped. It's simply going to a further consultation and impact assessment regarding two specific elements of the code (because the parking scammers are running scared that the gravy train is about to come off the rails so they've filed for a judicial review).
There's a whole thread about this in the Parking board.Jenni x3 -
I've moved this to the Parking board - thank you.1

Thanks @MSE_Laura_F
We already know this and I'm the only consumer individual on the Government Steering Group. It's not scrapped, I can tell you! all! Just that the moneymen have blocked it temporarily.
Discussed in depth on other threads in June, including an overview of the current situation which is on the sticky thread about the MSE Apoeals Guide thread by @MSE_JC
There will be an initial Impact Assessment coming out after new Ministers are in place and then a final Public Consultation to 'strengthen' the legal position.
We need EVERY poster to get involved.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
