There are so many things we don't know.
How long has the tenant lived in the property ?
Has the LL/L.A. Increased the rent in the last 3/4/5 years.
What rent are they paying and what rent could the Landlord get in the current market.
Maybe the LL wants the tenant out so they can sell up in the current crazy housing market.
Maybe the LL wants to retire to Spain with the money he/she has tied up in the property.
Maybe the LL has got fed up of the Governments policy of forcing Landlords out of the rental market.
Tax changes, more regulation and registration with licences.
You can rent out a property with an EPC of up to "E" but both Scotland, Wales and soon England are pushing for a "C " in the next 5 years.
