Glad it worked out for you, Dave! What panels did you go with in the end?  They look superb!
    -  10 x 400w LG + 6 x 550W SHARP BiFacial Panels + SE 3680 HD Wave Inverter + SE Optimizers. SE London.
    -  Triple aspect. (22% ENE/ 33% SSE/ 45% WSW)
    -  Viessmann 200-W on Advanced Weather Comp. (the most efficient gas boiler sold)

Feel free to DM me if I can help with any energy saving!

That's right up to the edge of your roof. Did they leave you any documents about the roof mounting system they used? I believe some allow you to go right up but require additional fixings.

I'll have to have a look through all the documents they left and see if there is anything for the panels.

Went for the Sharp panels. 16 x 400w
However looking at the solaredge app, it says they are the Sharp NU-JB395, so 395w?
Guessing this could be an error during the solaredge setup, as I don't think the panels look like the 395's.

Same on mine. Don't think 400w sharps exist on the solaredge system.
I signed up as an "installer" on the solaredge system to design a system and realised 400w sharps are not defined as standard.
A few different companies I contacted were going to use perlight 400w - again not set up on solaredge so they probably would have added a 380w panel.
Doeant seem to impact performance from what I have observed.
Im not a pro, but I questioned the same things immediately after install.

    Ah brillaint, thanks for that.
For charging the Growatt battery overnight it requires a password. Is it a generic default password or did you have to wait for LR to send it through to you?

Is this using the ShinePhone App?

If so it's growatt20221027 today.  It changes everyday, 'growatt' followed by the date in that format.

Just got my G99 acceptance through from the DNO - UK Power Networks. No issues with my 6kWh output! :D Just applied to Octopus for their SEG.

Brill! Reading this, I just contacted LR to see how my G98 application was going and they've just emailed it over.

I've not given any thought to which Octopus SEG tarrif to go for, we've only got the 4k no battery set up so any suggestions would be welcome.

I would say Octopus Outgoing Fixed for the winter - 15p per kWh exported. In the summer, appears Outgoing Agile is the better one, as a lot of people received good money per kWh exported.
