Are there any free VPN's available ?
I expect it to be limited in download or speed - but no "your money back if not delighted" - but genuinely free
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

How many days a week are you willing to work for free?
If a VPN is "100% free" they are making money from you in other ways like injecting adverts or gathering and selling your data... which typically is one of the things people are going for a VPN to avoid others doing.
If you want to go that route then Proton VPN and PrivadoVPN both a free option but will try to upsell your to their faster subscription based services.4 -

What's the "use case" for this VPN - ie is this for use at home for XYZ or out of the house to secure public wifi etc?
For the latter, you can create your own VPN server at home and use that for free whenever you want - that's what I do and just use an app on my phone to connect to it and everything is securely routed via VPN to my home internet when I'm out of the house. After that, it is back to a normal home internet connection - ie no VPN but it secures the risky part - ie public wifi.

Saying "VPN" without explaining the reason your want it makes it impossible to suggest anything. There are products which are free and will suit one scenario, but not others.Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20232

No such thing as a free lunch. You'll pay for it one way or another.

I'm looking into FREE VPN too. It would be used at home so using my own Wi-Fi. I'm sick of not having access to newspapers and documents in USA and Spain and Portugal.
Any help out there for more mature lady, not 100% tech savvy so can't make my own. I use Duck Duck Go.There's no place like home
Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.
