Static caravan fees

I currently have a static caravan on a 20 year license with an option for another 20 after that. The ground rent was negotiated ( with a one of payment) to remain the same for 10 years. 8 years have now passed and new site owners have taken over. The license is now 15 years, the ground rent and utilities have almost doubled and the sell on fee has gone from 10% to 15% with immediate effect. Help with our rights would be appreciated.

What does your original contract state?

On what basis has the landlord decided that the previous term and ground rent can be unilaterally changed?1

He probably thinks that the existing contracts were voided by the transfer of ownership, so he's going to get a nasty shock...
Or he's well aware that they are not, but hopes that a proportion of his customers will re-contract without querying the terms. No free lunch, and no free laptop2
