Sygate with wireless card.

I have just put a new wireless card into my M.I.L's comp and have hit a problem.
When I start, Sygate starts up and the wireless card will not connect. I close down Sygate and I can get the card to connect and work. I can then reconnect Sygate and all is well until the next start up, Sygate does not detect it otherwise. How can I get this working without going through all the rigmarole, there's no chance of her understanding or remembering any explanation.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

you need to build an advanced rule to allow all traffic via the wireless card

right click on the sygate icon and Advanced Rules is there

  • Thanks, I'll have another look at this tomorrow, I thought I had already done this but I could easily be wrong.

  • Just been round to look at it, have already ticked the "allow" box, done it again with a name this time. Turned it off and will see about it tomorrow.
