New job and mortgage application

If you start a new job 3 months ago, your last 3 bank statements show 2 pay packets (due to the pay periods of the employer), is this likely to be a problem for mortgage applications? If you can show through employment contract that you have been in the job for 3 months and can also prove that you’ve been in continuous employment before that with a different employer through payslips.

Depends on the lender. They all have different criteria. Some don't accept probation, others will take 3 months but want you to have been in continuous employment in a similar industry etc.tbo127 said:If you start a new job 3 months ago, your last 3 bank statements show 2 pay packets (due to the pay periods of the employer), is this likely to be a problem for mortgage applications? I am sure you will find someone to lend to you but best speak to a broker on this one.0 -
Or I can wait a couple of weeks for the next payslip if that won’t be an issue for all parties.0
