What if billed estimates are ahead of actuals?
Been away a lot for the last months/winter so couldn't submit meter readings at cap change dates, and noticed that gas bills were done on estimates ahead of actuals. Seems like I have forward paid future units at older prices, but not sure what I am supposed to do now - do I submit an actual reading lower than their estimates (is that possible?) or do I wait till my actual 'catches up' with their estimates? On Octopus SVT.

Just submit a reading.0

Would you know if or how any overpayments for past periods would be settled, given they'll go over two price periods?0

When this has happened to me in the past it was all done at the rate being used on date of the bill so if that has not changed you should get it at todays rates.1

Ok, thank you very much0
