How much control do you have over when you're out of the country? If you can be abroad while your fix is above the current cap and at home when it is below the updated cap......0

No, if you ever want to come off the Octopus Tracker, just email hello@octopus.energy and we will move you to one of our other tariffs right away, alternatively you can switch directly in your online account. Additionally, we have introduced a maximum cap on Tracker prices at 55p / kWh of electricity and 16p / kWh for gas
Tracker is a 12-month deal so you'll keep whatever ceiling you sign up to for 12 months.Currently, the usual way to join Tracker is to drop Octopus Customer Services an email at hello@ and then ask to switch.There's a Tracker thread on the forum here:
