I wouldn't wash anything with elastic at 60C. The only things I wash at that temperature are towels, dishcloths and hankies.
If it sticks, force it.
If it breaks, well it wasn't working right anyway.0 -
A bath towel would really only be used to dry an already clean body, yet a T-shirt would be worn (for a couple of days?) next to a not so clean body. If you're happy to wash a T-shirt at 40C, why not a towel?
