best survey and free cash back sites

Options
can anyone tell me what are the best survey and free cash back sites to join, there seems to be so many and I would love to make some free money starting in 2008 so want to sign up ready. How much can you roughly make each day. Is there a guide to follow anywhere. Thanks

  • It's not a lucrative market.............I'm still waiting for a 20p Quidco payment from Opinionistic from 7th May.

And because I use a unique email address for each of these sorts of things, I know that they've sold my address and, as a result, I've received 747 pieces of junk email since then.

There may be a lot of reputable "survey" companies out there but how do you separate the wheat from the chaff?

Any advice that you receive from me is worth exactly what you paid for it. Not a penny more or a penny less.

it does take a long time to save up though so you need to be patient!

Why is a person that handles your money called a broker?!
  • You need to pm EagerLearner - she's got a great 'clicks' sheet to help you maximise the amount you can make from the free clicks sites. I've not been doing her sheet for long - and I'm not patient enough to do it - but I know that lots of people make quite a bit that way. It'll never be enough to give up the day job for ... but it's quite fun and adds up.

Personally, I've been signed in to Pigsback since end Oct and I've just sent away for my first £10 voucher which is really good.

Survey sites - I've belonged to lots of these since 2004 and have had varying amounts of success with them - but none have paid out a fortune. I think it depends who you are - as a woman between 35 and 40 with 2 children I suspect there are lots like me filling in surveys! But I could be wrong.

There are 2 threads I've seen on MSE - one is the EagerLearner's thread on clicks (which is definitely on DFW) and the other might be on the Up Your Income board on surveys. If I find them and can work out how to do it, I'll post you a link.

    Hope this helps

Of all the ones I use Global Test market seem to be one of the best. I average £25 every 4 months from their surveys. Lightspeed pay £1ish per survey whcih you can claim as paypal credit immediately after completing the survey. Toluna (Test and Vote) is reasonable and pay in Sainsburys Shopping vouchers. All in I think I've tried around 40 of this type of thing. YouGov only pay out when you reach £50. Its taken me 2 years to get to £35. Mostly they send loads of surveys for the first few months and then nothing. Its mostly a case of try them and see. Avoid PureProfile, I got to 50p under their payout limit and never recieved another thing from them. I'm averaging 3 product tests a month from a variety of sites, mostly washing powders and dog food but it saves me buying them.

As far as cashback CashBackJunction seem to cover most shops including Asda and Tesco. They pay out at £20 which is the equivalent of £100 at Tesco or £200 at Thorntons. http://www.cashbackjunction.com/register.php?n=4496

Ipoints is another reasonabler cashback site but annoyingly they pay in either goods or Amazon.com gift vouchers. Although I've had £60 in Amazon vouchers from them this year.

My latest whacky one is to haggle at my local farmers market. I'm now buying my meat free ranging by the 1/2 animal at £1 per lb. Means that this months meat came to £66 and comprised a carrier bag of bacon, another of sausages, a third of chops, 14 roasting joints big enough to feed 4 adults and a heart liver and kidneys for the cat. Best of ll it tastes far better than anything I've had from the supermarket lately!

For daily clicking sites, see http://www.click-your-way2cash.co.uk/p1.htm
It lists various ways of receiving daily rewards and is excellent.

Ipsos are worth a look, they pay out in vouchers and I've received quite a few rewards from them. http://www.iap-interactive.com/FirstPage.aspx?param=3

    I like It's Your View at http://www.itsyourview.com/icm2005/index.htm
They pay between £1 to £4 for surveys and pay out at £50. Definitely recommended.

Pure Profile at http://www.pureprofile.com/?nomatch aren't bad. I generally log into the site to see whether surveys are available. They don't always send an email.

I also recommend Yougov, although it does take quite a while to reach the £50 payout.

You won't make a fortune but every little bit helps.

    Good luck
  • Definately try Pigsback, also Lightspeed and itsyourview and Valued Opinions. Harris Poll (HI Points) is good, they can send a couple of surveys a week if they feel like it and they pay well. Global Test Market I rarely screen through to the actual survey but my points are mounting up. Test and Vote is OK, though they're slow to send vouchers (you have to get 60000 points for a £12 voucher). Ipsos is quite good too, got quite a healthy balance after a year. I like myshoppingrewards, there are quite a few easy cash things to do.

Good luck, it only takes a few minutes of clicking a day to build up a good lot of points and/or cash.
