TV wires into a wall

I've just wall mounted our TV. Planning on making a hole in the wall to feed the cables through and come out a few feet down out of sight. Should be OK as it's a plasterboard wall with no studs or anything in this area. Probably making a 2.5 in hole at both ends but I don't know how to seal ( as much as I can) the holes and make it tidy once the cables are in place Any ideas?

Brush strip cable management in a plasterboard back box... or no box fr example https://cpc.farnell.com/av-star/bpw1gw/brush-plate-white-1-gang-white/dp/AV27538?st=brush cable entries
NB there may be cross-brace noggins in the wall route you choose preventing cables travelling the route you want. There may also be acoustic insulation between the two plasterboard panels. (Unless it's dot and dab PB in which case all bets are off....)
Consider a decorative surface trunking solution if there's any possibility of such issues?1 -
If it's just to tidy up the hole then you'll probably want something like this https://www.toolstation.com/cable-entry-cover/p919951

Either use a square drywall back box, or a round one like this - https://www.screwfix.com/p/appleby-1-gang-dry-lining-knockout-box-35mm/90517The round one needs a 65mm hole, and you'll have to source a blanking plate. The lids from these fit straight on - https://www.screwfix.com/p/tower-1-way-20mm-terminal-box-black/69178 - But you need M3.5 screws (standard ones used for sockets/switches).Sod's Law says there will be a horizontal noggin between the top & bottom cable entry/exit points. You'll probably be making holes quite a bit bigger than 65mm.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

You can use a brush plate hidden behind the TV and another where the cables come out of the wall again
Edit: Beaten to it by Rodders!

I've used this method to fill holes in the past
