Make your bedroom by the front door with the walk-in wardrobe. You barely notice after a few weeks.
Four of you in the house? Kids have their rooms to work/study/chill in. Make the 4th bed and/or living room into your workplaces.
failing that, how big is your garden? Can you fit an office in it?2006 LBM £28,000+ in debt.

I've got a bungalow, but it was built with an upstairs (yes, I know, I know - nobody knows what to call this type of dwelling; when I bought it, the estate agent was marketing it as a 'chalet'). My point is, that you'll have roof space upstairs for at least one bedroom and en-suite, plus quite a lot of handy under-eaves storage.
Yes, you'll need space for a staircase, but it looks like you have the room for one.
As others have mentioned moving bathrooms around on the ground floor is a major pain in the backside because it'll probably be a concrete floor.2
