windscreen replacement, autoglass refusing until dash error is fixed. ford refusing to fix dash

long story short
autoglass said i need to get a rid of a dashboard error before they can install a windscreen (so 2 weeks wait for appointment went to waste)
another 2 weeks wait to get into ford garage, they refused to fix the dash error because they said they need windscreen replaced)

stuck in a limbo, what do i do?
im going in circles and spending hours with ford customer service and auto glass waiting to hear back


can i go through my insurance (LV) and get the windscreen/dash error fixed by ford at the same time?
