HOW much will the Govt give us?

Options
Hello
I'm TOTALLY confused.
I'm 68 years old and a WASPI state pensioner.
I receive PiP (lowest daily living rate)
I receive winter heating allowance (£200 ?)

Can someone please confirm what I'll be receiving, and when?  If I need to request it, I don't want to miss the close date!

Many thanks

As you claim PIP you'll get the £150 disability Cost of Living payment.  So far we only have 'from September' as the date.

As a pensioner you'll get an extra £300 for your Winter Fuel payment, 'from November'.

These are intended to be paid automatically but there may be a mechanism after the payments have gone out to claim if yours is missing.

Thank you very much for replying.  so as it stands then it should be £450 total?  I've read so many different figures, that's what's confusing me.

    Thanks,

No, the winter fuel payment will be an extra £300 on top of your usual amount. How much you will receive exactly for this will depend on your circumstances.
Fuel allowance? Do you mean the energy rebate the Government announced? If so then they increased the amount to £400 paid at around £66/month on your energy account from October to March.
As you also claim PIP then there's an extra £150 in September. Full details of all payments are in the link above.

Yes, £450 extra in Cost of Living payments, plus your usual winter fuel allowance.

The £400 energy credit mentioned by poppy is for everyone with a domestic electricity account with an energy supplier.  [The government are still working on equivalent help for the ~1% who don't, e.g. people in park homes, people whose rent includes bills, etc.]
