Schools and Application

Not sure if this is the right place for this question. 

I should be moving in the next few months. I know that school applications start Sept 2022-Jan 2023 for the little one.

Once I've moved, does the local council already know to issue me school application pack. Or do i get in touch myself, if it is after Sept.

You will usually need to apply online to the Local Authority. The only correspondence they normally send is a letter stating that you need to apply for a school place by the 15th January.

Speak to the local council - you will need to apply fore a school place but this is pretty straight forward. Make sure you visit the schools where you are moving to.
