I became an Independent Travel agent for a side hustle. I did this for a year alongside my job in the 3rd sector as a volunteer manager. I absolutely love it!
I’m curious how you would get started with this. my OH would love to do this as a step towards retirement. Any tips?

I am a book addict, I've managed to make a bit of money (£220 after expenses over 3 months), selling rare or unusual books. Its not big bucks but it was money i was able to pay off my credit card for a month. I do shop in charity shops and have the time to check, usually then and there before i purchase, whether a book is worth anything.

The flip side - in a bipolar moment I bought 50,000 worms online to breed for composting. So far I have two massive plastice buckets full of worms that I haven't even tried to sell
I've got a (what I think is a somewhat rare and unusual, if 'popular' modern) book that I picked up in a charity shop for £1. It's brand new, mint condition, still in shrink wrap and has a £30 sticker on the back of it under the packaging from the original shop. I believe it's signed inside though I haven't opened it to check. Any ideas where I could sell it?
If you can see the ISBN number look it up on Amazon , but also check the ranking as I had books showing at over £100 but near a million in the rankings that meant they never really sold. Using the info from Amazon check out eBay sold listings (not those listed for sale) and also Abebooks if they are still going.

Unfortunately you have a Catch22 situation, if you aren’t sure it is signed you will have to open it to find out , but then it will no longer be brand new and sealed.

The original £30 price ticket though is no indication of it’s current value , also some authors are more popular that others when it comes to signatures .
