Universal Credit cannot login

I have tried for three days to get in touch with Universal Credit regarding a payment but it is impossible as the code is never sent. I have tried phoning but you are on the phone for so long it is ridiculous. Has anyone else had the same problem? if so there must be something wrong with the site.

We are not DWP. I just logged into my daughters journal and received the code without any issues, as a text message. Do they have your correct phone number/email?

Try ringing the helpline first thing in the morning as that's usually the best time to ring. Even then you could be waiting up to an hour for someone to answer your call. Universal Credit helpline Telephone: 0800 328 5644

I would suggest you call into the local jobcentre who will be able to assist you accessing your account. Make sure you take your phone with you and know how to access your emails, as these may be required if you need to reset your account.

When you try to sign in, isn't there a link to click on if you are unable to receive the authorisation code?
